Rick Simpson Oil Dosing Guide For Cancer Patients
Rick Simpson Oil, or RSO, for short, is a cannabis concentrate. Claims of individuals being cured of cancer, are often times attributed to the use of RSO.
Skeptics may say that RSO is ineffective as a cancer treatment, I, however, have had the privilege of witnessing the halt of cancer growth in several individuals that undertook this particular treatment. I’ve watched conventional methods fail to stop the progression of the disease and patients add one last thing (cannabis) to their plan, and then the tests started to change favorable. My personal experience working over the years has made me a believer that Rick Simpson oil can, indeed, effectively cure some cancers and slow down the progression of most.
Please note, I am not a Doctor, I have zero medical training, I am just a long time cannabis activist, believer, and educator. At the same time, I understand the gravity of such a dreaded disease and the desperation to find a cure for yourself or a loved one. Because of that, I am going to share what I have seen work for others. The following RSO dosing guide is what I have personally seen people have success in following. Please check with your Doctor beginning this or any other herbal or alternative treatments.
That said….having personal experience with this particular method, I feel it is my life’s work and obligation to share my knowledge of this plant. Please proceed with caution, and awareness. Read every sentence + anything else you can get your hands on before starting your regimen. If you have questions, make sure you ask them, before starting your plan as well. Make sure you have done your own research about any possible drug or allergy interactions that cannabis might have with other medications. While cannabis is pretty safe compared to most other pharmaceutical treatments, it’s always best to do your homework and check with your Doctor too.
Getting Started with RSO
In order for the Rick Simpson oil treatment to be truly effective, it is recommended that 60 grams or 60 ml of RSO is ingested over a period of 90 days. Beginning with small doses, over the course of a month or so, and titrating upwards to the goal of consuming 1 gram a day of RSO.
This goal may take longer for some to work their way up to a gram a day, don’t panic if it takes a little longer than a month to get there, everyone is different. The important thing, the big goal here, is that you complete the consumption of at LEAST 60 grams of Rick Simpson Oil, in order to see the remission of the disease.
Below is a chart that can be used as a guideline for how and when to increase dosage of RSO, in order to get yourself to 1 gram daily. Remember though, this is just a guideline. If you cannot tolerate the increased doses, in the time recommended, it will not equate to failure for this treatment. Just finish the 60 grams!
When our mind is focused on healing and loving those around us, instead of the ailment at hand, our quality of life improves. Be hopeful, forgiving, understanding, and grateful on your road to recovery. I wish you wellness, joy, and love.
As always, good luck on your healing journey and reach out with any questions you might have.
Side effects of RSO
Mainly sleepiness, which is a natural part of the healing process. Increasing the dose gradually will help minimize the psychoactive effects and keep your tolerance to a functional level. Daytime sleepiness should fade within three to four weeks.
The taste of the RSO may be slightly bitter or unpleasant, so patients may prefer to ingest the oil by swallowing it directly or mixing it with food, such as bananas, to help mask the taste.
Goal: Consume 60 grams of RSO over the course of 90 days
Week 1:Â Start with 3 doses every day
Each dose should be about the size of half a grain of rice and should be administered once every eight hours (morning, noon, and night); the first dose will be about ¼ drop of RSO. Many find taking that first dose at bedtime is the best way, as you will be tired before you build a tolerance up.
Because RSO is a thick, sticky, tar like substance, it comes in a syringe and must be heated in order to serve it. To do this get a small amount of warm water in a glass, just enough to cover the end of they syringe. Keeping the rubber cap on the end of the oil, place the syringe in the warm water for a few minutes. When adequately melted, the oil should easily be squeeze out onto a piece of fruit. I recommend small ‘cuties’ orange slices for this, just open one in the am and put the slices in a container in the fridge for easy access the next time. You CAN go ahead and put the servings onto the slices as well if you have a safe and secure spot to store your medication away from others and the change someone might eat one. Pre preparing your doses for the day will allow you to only heat the oil once, compared to each time having to repeat the warm water process.
Weeks 2 through 5:Â Double your dose every 4 days
The average person will take between three and five weeks to reach the full dosage of one gram of RSO per day. Remember, you are doing great! Just keep at it till you can get the full 60 grams in. It is okay to slow down a bit on this timeline too, do what you can do, but it is important to try to ‘hurry’ in the fight against this disease. Please just take what you can, as fast as you can.
Weeks 5 through 12: Take one gram of RSO daily until you’ve consumed the full 60 grams
Eventually, you will be taking about 8-9 rice-sized drops of RSO every eight hours. Ideally. Remember, this is an ‘average’ guideline. You are an individual so it’s okay to be a bit different.
Continued regimen
After a 12-week regimen of RSO, you may want to continue the treatment but it should be at a significantly reduced rate. About one to two grams of RSO per month is enough for a regular maintenance dose.
What about CBD Oil?
CBD oil is absolutely, positively, amazing. I am not on a mission to deter you from its use of course! But, for some more powerful ailments, it sometimes is not enough. God made the whole plant, and therefore it makes sense the body would need the whole plant in order to restore itself. Because CBD is not found in high enough concentrates in RSO, you will need to supplement with a pure, sublingual oil.
To guarantee that the daily recommended dose of at least 100 mg of CBD is ingested, I recommend this pure CBD oil be taken alongside the RSO. The combination of THC with the high dose of pure CBD works synergistically on your bodies cells.
